First off, who the hell thought this was a good idea? I mean, really? REALLY? Whoever works with you should be side eyeing the crap out of you whenever your around a beverage.
Now your whole office has to wonder if they should padlock their thermos.
What’s scary here is that this ad was not an after thought. It wasn’t an accident. How many level’s of management viewed and approved this before it was printed?
Not a single one of these people thought ” Oh this is inappropriate”?
Not a single one of you people thought ” it’s not funny to encourage people to drug someone against their will”?
What’s with the creepy guy leering at that unsuspecting woman? Is that how best friends look at each other? Cause I’m pretty sure none of my friends leer at me that way. If they did, I wouldn’t be friend’s with them. That’s unsettling.
Bloomingdale’s released a statement basically saying sorry this appeared to be inappropriate.
Wait..wait…
It APPEARED? What the hell else could this insinuate?
I’m disgusted that someone had to actually TELL you that this wasn’t ok. I’m disgusted that at any point anyone thought this was clever or funny.
Because drugging someone for ANY purpose is NEVER ok. NEVER.
I am concerned and upset for a country that thinks even for a minute that anything like this is alright. Especially as a woman.
Sadly, the whole rape culture is still trucking full steam.
What an embarrassment. What a disturbing event. We as a country should be doing better than this.
Way better.
That is just crazy! I have a 12-year-old daughter I wouldn’t want her having these types of “friends.” Wow. Cover your eggnog, girls! (or guys)
